Based on 253 reviews

Thai Thani Docklands is widely recognized for its flavorful and premium-quality Thai cuisine, offering a menu that balances traditional tastes with a slightly elevated presentation. Diners frequently praise the variety and taste of dishes, particularly the curries, grilled meats, and well-executed salads and noodles. The restaurant's ambiance and interior design receive positive attention, creating a welcoming and vibrant dining experience. While service is noted as friendly and attentive, some practical aspects, such as the lack of high chairs for young children, have been mentioned. Desserts tend to receive mixed feedback, with most praise focused on the main courses and cocktails. Overall, Thai Thani Docklands is favored for quality food and a pleasant atmosphere, suitable for both casual and special occasions.

Nice little place. Food was more on the fancy side than authentic but was flavorful nonetheless. We weren’t planning to go there, if was late and nothing else was open around, but I was pleased with the decision.

Food was so tasty (had prawn&pork dumpling , grilled lamb and beef), all dishes came with sauces and it went well. Cocktails were amazing, I shouldn't bring a car next time.I love this restaurant's interior and vibe too.

We were pleasantly surprised with the food. The photos on google didnt do it justice. We had Crisp pork belly, Veg fried rice, Steak salad, Mango sticky rice and the Coconut Sago Pudding. The only let down were the desserts but the rest was lovely. Def recommend!

If you are looking to spend a quality time, and experience amazing Thai cuisine, Thai Thani is the place to visit. Had a Bday dinner at this place and loved every moment of it. Very friendly customer service and attentive to your needs.PS- unfortunately, they don't have a high chair for small kids. You may need to be mindful with little ones.

Amazing place for great flavourful thai food. Love their food. The quality and the taste feel like a premium thai place. I have visited this restaurant on multiple occasions and every time had a great experience. I love their Lamb shoulder thai massaman curry. It goes really well with coconut or jasmine rice. Their salads and noodles are great, too. The chicken pieces in some thai restaurant can feel dry or flavourless in some thai places. Thai thani adds sliced grilled chicken pieces in the pad thai, which elevates the whole dish.

After arriving in Melbourne around lunchtime, we got checked in and went on the search for food.Well, the search was very quickly wrapped up as the smell wafting out of Thai Thani dragged us in from the streets, and we are glad it did.The staff were very warm and welcoming and once we ordered and received our food, it exceeded all expectations. The food was reasonably priced and over-delivered on taste and volume.Highly recommend coming to Thai Thani

Delicious and well-conceived dishes that manage to be a little bit creative and unique.I’ve never had a bad meal here and the food comes out so quickly! The atmosphere at night time is beautiful and the staff are so friendly. Prices are really reasonable too!

Who would’ve thought at the end of Collins St in the Docklands is where Thai Thani has opened up their second store! I have always been a fan of their Fitzroy restaurant so knew it was going to be good here as well. But I also like new function space they have at this venue had an amazing dinner with my partner last week. Starting with a fresh coconut which I can never open one myself at home and he got the strawberry cocktail. Followed by crying tiger beef salad cooked medium rare, so delicious! Next up was the fried calamari because who doesn’t like it. As for mains we shared a pad Thai with grilled king prawns and also a green curry with sticky rice. Fun fact the waiter told us we need to eat the sticky rice while it’s hot, otherwise it will become super hard “as rock” was his words! They’re still updating their dessert menu but the coconut ice cream with corn was the perfect way to end our night!
